Hotel is nearer to a famous park named Lal bagh. Staffs are also good and co-operative. Rate is a very major concern. Rate is very cheaper for facilities available here.

Great location, helpful staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, free Wi-Fi, great Chinese and South Indian restaurants on-site, improved over the years.
Can't fault the property in any way.

The hotel was very accommodating and a huge step up from the one I stayed in while I was in Chennai (at roughly the same price). The staff were all very friendly and willing to help. The Wi Fi worked and was good quality and the tv also had a good picture. May not sound like much, but when you've stayed in some of the hotels I have...
The area it was in was very (very) dirty.

Located in the heart of the city, this hotel is an ideal spot for tourists. With its proximity to major tourist points and the city center, getting around is easy. The banquet hall is perfect for hosting team meets and events. The restaurant offers delicious food with a great variety.
One aspect that needs improvement is the cleanliness of bathroom towels.

Bed was very comfortable and the fridge worked eventually. There was plenty of hot water.
Didn't like the area it was in.More dirty than the rest of India.Too many powercuts. Bathroom smelled of disinfectant to start with then became disgusting with drain smells.Staff on reception very unhelpful. Wasn't advised of a 24hr check-in/out and got stung for extra day rnt when we overstayed by 3 hours.

Not much, but almost no bug nor rat. The A/C was working fine and the doorman was really friendly. Lowest price advertised on Booked.net. Probably possible to find better deal but have to be local.
You just get what you pay for. Hotels in India are not cheaper than other places in the world if you compare for the same quality. This one does not deserve the "Luxury Business Hotel" they claim but remains acceptable (Can you do camping?). The room had a pest treatment so no pest, but very strong smell. The floor has been cleaned just before but the water was probably very dirty, so it was sticky. Many things broken, unfinished or unclean.

Spent new year's eve at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and excellent location. The unlimited starters and live cooking stations were a great touch. The friendly staff made us feel at home. the room was spacious and comfortable with complimentary amenities and a great view of the city.
The hotel could improve its décor as it seemed a bit outdated and could be polished up a bit. , the noise level at night was slightly disturbing and I would recommend bringing earplugs for a good night's sleep.

The restaurant offered excellent South Indian Breakfasts. And the Lunch and dinner were very good too.
Poor service on check in as not very friendly and charged different amount to what the price was on Booked.net

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel as a new couple. I was afraid for our honeymoon trip and stay in a hotel. contrary to my belief we had a memorable stay as it seemed we were in a paradise. Room we were allotted is a luxurios one and the services we received at the midnight was exemplary from the room staff.

Great location close to the racecourse and city center. Clean and spacious rooms with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast selection was good, and the food was tasty. The hotel had a banquet hall with excellent arrangements for a gathering of around 30 people.
Limited food options for guests from the Northern part of India. The decor in some areas looked tired, but refurbishment work was underway during our stay.

Gold Crest is located in the heart of the Bangalore city . The tarriff is reasonable. One thing I like most about this hotel is the cleanliness & ambiance. The big wooden idol of lord and environment at the recerption makes you feel pleasing & homely. Hotel staffs are good and co-operative. Location is not the superbe but good for business perspective. Over all I had good experience of stay here.

The elevator button was very clean....
We strongly discourage staying in this hotel, few reasons why: No 24 hrs reception desk - we arrived at night and the door was closed up with a chain and a padlock, only after energetic tapping at the door we could finaly enter. Then nobody was expecting our arrival, stuff didn't reply our mail where we were asking direction to get there from airport, taxi price etc. We discovered an AWFUL room, very dirty, probably even not cleaned after previous guests, bed was not clean, sheets neither, there was no cover for comforter! The window didnt close and A/C was not working...The worst though were CARCROACHES! Toilets were like in a public toilets and we had to wash with shoes (didn't want to catch a disease or something by walking in the "bathroom". It's pretty unsecure area, and I recommend women who travel alone NOT to go in this part of Bangalore. They had trouble to find my internet reservation and had to explain my case 30 minutes to make them realize that I've booked before coming...
Tourists from India often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
